#GetOutside

Are you allowed to use a hashtag in a title?

I’m going to do it, whether or not it is acceptable. I like to live on the wild side sometimes.

The weather is slowly becoming more temperate, leaves are bravely appearing and some of the bushes have even showed signs of flowering. I love springtime. I love the bright, glittery essence of a spring day, the smell of farmers burning fields, and the reappearance of robins.

Sometimes, being outside on a beautiful day is exactly what a body needs to feel a little more equipped to handle the days ahead. A chance to hit that reset button.

So, in lieu of something pithy, I’m dropping a quote from Calvin and Hobbes. Even as adults, its a good thing to get our knees green, even if just in a proverbial sense.

“If your knees aren’t green by the end of the day, you ought to seriously re-examine your life.”

Have a lovely week, my wonderful readers! Make this week yours!

Spring time is a wonderful time of year, and I love when it beckons me to come outside with its warmth. Unfortunately, it’s still too cold where I live to get out much! (Oi, will this winter ever end?)

Ack! I know spring has been reluctant in a lot of the northern climes…I hope it gets brave soon!

Love the quote and the philosophy! Unfortunately, here in southeastern PA we got 4 inches of snow today. Just stop that, Mother Nature!

Eastern WA also didn’t get the memo that winter is over. STOP SNOWING. 😂

There’s just something about the outside air and good old vitamin D…

I can’t wait for spring, the warmer weather is trying to push through. I’ve wondered about using hashtags in my blog, they’re great in other social media platforms.
