Blue Toes
My daughter knows what she likes, she loves what she likes and not much can dissuade her.
She adores getting her toes and fingernails painted on a regular basis. I have a myriad of nail polish colors and we always spread them out in a long line so that my daughter can survey the choices for a few moments.
Today, she told me she might want to pick pink, to match her pink sequined headband.
But then, she picked up a blue polish with a smile on her face.
It’s the color she always picks.
The same bright, sparky blue she has been picking since the day she realized she could communicate her preferences.
The lesson here today: stick to your guns. If you like having blue toes, then get blue toes no matter the outlying pressures.

January 14, 2019 at 12:44 pmNail varnish colour is such a dilemma! I love bright candy apple red best of all. I gravitate to it more often than not, I wouldn’t ever say it was my favourite colour if asked but when I look around, from my car to my laptop – I’m not even convincing myself 😊
